    Eurocom Have A Forum Rep?

    Hi Folks,

    I'm a long time forum stalker but a relatively new poster. I live up in Canada and am interested in the Eurocom Sky X6 (P770DM-G?) with 980m. Eurocom seems to have comparable prices to other Clevo resellers and they are in Canada, simplifying the warranty process if anything goes wrong.

    Anyway, the price is a bit above my budget and the ram/ssd prices seem out of whack with anything I can buy and install myself (which I might do). I know many of the resellers have reps on this forum and are open to negotiating/discounts/pricematches etc. So... does anyone know the Eurocom rep's name here on NBR? I'd like to PM him/her.

    Yeah, they have a rep here but he's not very active. If you want quick replies, email [email protected] - they always respond to me within an hour. They even sell individual parts, upgrade Clevo laptops that weren't purchased through them, etc unlike a lot of resellers here.

    Thanks for your input Phoenix. In my stalking of these forums, I've come across and read through a lot of your posts. I browsed through HIDEvolution's site and as of now, their system costs and warranty overall seem more expensive, especially given that prices are in American and the CAD to AM exchange rate is poopoo for Canadians atm.

    That said, I read through the threads you linked and it seems you received top notch customer service from the start and all the way through to the end. Sent you a free keyboard to Dubai and gave you vid walk-throughs of the system build process! Very nice. I haven't ruled these guys out yet.

    And I apologize in advance: I've compiled quite a list of questions during my research and I'm just going to dump them all into my email to you. Hope you don't mind good sir.

    Right, also when my laptop was stolen, I bought another one from HIDevolution again but this time a Eurocom Branded one (Sky X9), then after finally retrieving back my old laptop, HIDevolution bought the old one off me to help me revive whatever money I have lost. They were also always continuously checking on me and the stolen laptop case. I don't know of many companies that give a flying duck about a customer after he has paid them the money.
