Eurocom Upgrade Center GFX-Cards. Can we Buy from them>?

I noticed that Eurocom has an upgrade Center. and there is alot of Video cards that they sell.

Can I purchase a card from them even though I didn't get a eurocom notebook?

yes you can, but you do not need to get it from just them.

almost every other major Clevo vendors (Sager, Pro-Star, etc...) has the same modules available... they just do not publicize it on their sites.

You should contact them for a better idea and maybe better pricing.

Although Eurocom does have a lot of old stock on older Clevo notebooks.

 

IF you are talking about a card for the Dell XPS in your signature, cards purchased from there will not work.

I have over 4 cards for my xps.

I am getting a barebones d901c from rjtech. I'm just aligning my tokens.

I probably will just get a single 7950 for my d901c, then I can get another later on, or a 8800m.

that is great to know that I can get parts like vid cards and stuff.

OK, so I am going to get my barebones with 1 video card and by the other one from a reseller.

I looked on Eurocoms site they want 695 for their card. I believe the VGA module one, not the MXM-HE one right?

that seems high.

I would think 500 bux max but that's just me.

what do you guys think is a good price for a single 7950?

 

a good price for a single 7950GTX is around $450-500... get it with your system for best price and convenience.

Eurocom still thinks that MXM-IV is HE... so they need to change that... because IV is different from HE

 

so if I order from eurocom on their site I have to order the MXM-HE one, cuz they have that one and a more expensive one that says MXM VGA MODULE.

 

again its not "HE"..... their site is wrong... its IV.... they are just confused on the MXM Type.... thats all.

To date, there are no MXM-HE cards available.

 

I got my 7900gtx 512mb card for DELL for 100 bux. it was advertised as broken. I blind flashed it back to a perfect new card.

I got my Quadro FX2500m for 300 bux.

I hope I can find a 7950 for 500 bux or so.

I hope I don't have to pay 800 dollars for a single card.

they also charge 900 bux for a t7600, i paid 400 bux for mine NEW RETAIL BOX.

The new Clevo MXM-IV cards are not really available anywhere other than from Clevo vendors/resellers.

Its too new of a format to have some floating around for eBay and such.

But contact any Clevo vendor for pricing... but expect to pay around $500 for them... which should be the approx price.

 

Again, on Eurocom's site, the pricing says MXM-HE 595$
and MXM-VGA Module- 695$

Are you saying that neither are MXM 4 and they don't have them listed???

or that MXM-HE is the MXM 4 and they are mis-listed?

and that is more than 500 bux.

Eurocom has higher prices usually, they just have to be bargained with.

Their MXM-HE is actually MXM-IV.

Their VGA is probably for the previous generation Clevo modules.

 

cool, where can I find some Real World Benchmarks FRAPS or Frames Per Second for the D900C SLI 7950gtx for games like oblvion, bioshock etc.

 

Minor word of caution: the nVidia press pictures released of the 8800 showed it on a Type HE..
