Hello everyone!
So I bought a 980m for my X3 a while back, and I've been using modded inf drivers ever since. However, two days ago I ran into issues with the driver (I likely messed up the inf mod) and I was wondering if there was a bios and vbios that natively supported the 980m on this laptop?
Thanks,

I may be mistaken, but can't you just flash the v2 vBIOS and then it will work with any of the newer driver versions? https://biosmods.wordpress.com/gtx9/
I haven't needed to mod any .infs with my X3 R2 (P157SM-A) with a 980m with Prema vBIOS v2. -

No, don't flash another model BIOS that will be a brick. Try the modded BIOS for yours and V2 Vbios if you like though.

I actually tried it and like it quite a lot. However, it doesn't really solve my issue...I installed an old driver that seems to be working, I'm hoping to find a method to circumvent having to modify the driver files.

It might be worth trying a couple of modern driver versions, but Nvidia are getting into the habit of changing things around.

Well I've tried PREMA's BIOS and vBIOS and to no avail. I might end up trying the newer driver versions, but I'd like to not have to modify the .infs. Am I doomed to doing so on a P157SM? The P157SM-A has native 900 series card support as far as I know...
