I have finely found a store that sells the laptop i want and with a danish keyboard layout.
My question is though, any one that has any experience with Eurocom and buying from Denmark / Sweden?
Was there any trouble and how long did it take until delivery?
Lastly have you tried to have a RMA with them and how did that go?
Thank you in advance.

You can purchase a Clevo notebook from any vendor (in the Clevo Guide) and get a keyboard that is to your preferred language.
-
Not answering your questions directly but I would recommend Kobalt. They have Danish keyboard. Also MyCizmo has also Scandinavian keyboards.
-
Yock - If your living in Denmark, then there are two companies I know of selling Clevo machines, that's @Computer (found in Midt-Data) and X-One (got mine through a computerstore in Aalborg), then you don't have to order outside DK
If you look through the Clevo Guide as Gophn links to, I would imagne that everyone that delivers worldwide, should be able to deliver with danish keyboard aswell -
Thank you for the responses i will look after those danish vendors.
About the guide though, while its very very good i have used hours to go through all the stores and only found one with the danish keyboard options and that was Eurocom
EDIT:
After looking at those danish vendors they don't have the configurations i want, seems Denmark is still behind in when we get the latest stuff.
Anyway.. Back to Eurocom, nobody with any experience with them? -
Are you sure? one can always ask if they can get it
Think most are able to get some they havent got listed
But yeah, we are a bit behind, sadly
But to Eurocom, no I havent had any experience with them, but they seems to have a good rep, from what I recall reading about them -
Eurocom may have all options available on their site, but realize that you can get a language keyboard custom from any vendor, just contact them (email is easiest).

Hope that laptop will last me some years like my old and trusty Dell XPS M1710 -
Btw you are aware about, customs and MOMS (VAT) when your importing from outside EU right ?
Might be some chock to get, when the extra bill is comming
Ended up ordering a Mojave (M570TU) from Kobalt last night for a mate, as its stationed in England and therefore in the EU, meaning no extra customs and MOMS.
But anyways, very nice machine you got put together there !!Loads of power !
-
Yes i very sadly got aware of that, right after i wrote that i actually started wondering about the tax.
The Eurocom website said it was with tax (at least at the first glimt), i then for some reason wanted to be sure and wrote them how the tax would work and this is what i got in return:
---
No taxes are charged at this end however you may be right and taxes may be charged at your end. I have no idea what those might be so you will need to check with local postal/customs authorities.
---
So for now that machine is still only a dream but i will keep on looking..
Not easy when you live in a country that is so far behind as Denmark it seems and the 25% tax plus other payments in told dosent make things easier.
It really feels like living in some nazy land "Heres the money you earned working and now we take 60% tax and oh yeah, you still have to pay 25% extra tax when buying anything.
But as said.. I will keep looking for some vendor that sells in a way so i can actually get a laptop! -
socialist countries for the loss =/
-
Indeed, the 20% you have to add, makes quite a diffrence... But as a light in the end of the tunnel, you woun't pay U.S. taxes of the machine, so you will have to take the price, without U.S. VAT, add the shipping costs, add customs and then add 20% for Danish VAT, so you will end up, paying a bit more VAT than you wound in U.S (higher rate and you will pay for the shipping aswell) (From what ive read, it seems that the U.S. VAT is 10% and the Danish is 25%, meaning it will be roughly an add of 15% to the price).
Have you tried to do that calculation ?
Yes, its sad, that we are restricted in such a way :/ But hey, we get around 0,30-0,35 kr to spend out of every 1 kr earned (with all taxes and VAT payed), we should be happy.... -
**** it..
Bought the biggest baddest desktop instead, saves me the trouble with all these taxes and keyboards with money to spare even that i put into upgrading my old Nas server.
Still have my trusty old M1710 for when i need to go mobile, if i don't sell that and buy some 12" notebook instead for added mobility. -
Well, thats another way of doing it
But that aint getting you a sweeeet gaming lappy
But indeed, there can be a lot of trouble getting your hands in what you want in Denmark :/ But well, you will be getting more out of your money with a desktop than a notebook, as you point out your selfYou can also get one of thoes 10"'ies with dedicated gpu, thats mobility
Eurocom and Denmark
