Hey, does anyone know a mirror where I can download the latest BIOS and EC? (980m version)

I have emailed Eurocom using their support form twice and no response in over a week...

    Thanks in advance

u can check over at premas website ( www.premamod.com) and look in the "important" section for the newest stock bios/ec versions. eurocom m5 pro is the equivalent of the clevo p650se btw :)

HERE you go. For the BIOS, go to P650SG -> eurocom -> P650SG 0307.zip. For the EC, go to P650SG -> EC -> P650SG_EC0306.zip .

I don't know whether the "0501" labeled EC or BIOS are newer versions, but I wouldn't risk them until that's clear. I would love to know though since some of its batch files appear to be newer.

P.S. Scouring their index database, I also stumbled upon an unlocked GTX 980m vbios (ie. full OC) . Didn't try it though and Prema's v2 mods are probably more up to date.

P.P.S. Your pic at first looked to me like someone had stuffed a cigarette up a poor hamster's you-know-what. Upon closer inspection...it still looked that way. Jk jk :p

Hey guys, thanks for all the help!

On Eurocom's site it says the 0501 is recommended for using Windows 10. That said, I have W10 on mine and no issues so far...

That was Chack the guinea pig like 4 years ago, I dropped one of my smokes and he picked it up and carried it around

    So just to follow up:

I downloaded the 0501 BIOS and EC from Eurocom.

Made myself a DOS boot stick. Put the flash files on there in appropriate folders... do this stuff at work all the time.

"No problem" he says in a cavalier fashion, booting to DOS

EC Flashes fine. PC shuts down. I start er up, boot from my Dos stick again...

Run MEFLASH.bat (per some instructions I found). Throws up a huge ERROR about not having enough space for the flash, but PROCEEDS TO FLASH ANYWAYS
I'm crapping my pants. It finishes... shuts down.

I'm scared to even touch that power button. But I summon all my cajones and do it... nothing. Loading my pants again. But wait.... after about 7 or 8 seconds... A BIOS! Like, an old school American Megatrends BIOS screen! Quickly mash F7, boot to DOS, and run Flash.BAT. Works like a charm.

    So everything worked out.

Except one thing, my BIOS splash screen....
