I see every Clevo retailer have Win10Home pre-installed and offer memories in lower prices. And the most ridiculous Eurocom experience. Should I give a try or stay as far away as possible from them?

What do you mean "most ridiculous Eurocom experience"?

And none of the other Clevo vendors that I know of have Windows pre-installed.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Eurocom, highly recommended. I have heard lots of good things about them, one of my friends got a Eurocom laptop too and doesn't have any issues with it.

Pre-installed windows on Clevo laptops? I don't think so. My friend bought the OS from Eurocom, and it came with a legit Windows OEM copy (like the OEM windows copy that you buy online).

I am not sure what's so bad about Eurocom. I own the Clevo P650SG (look at signature), and I don't have any problems with it.

Mythlogic has Windows pre-installed with the option to remove it.
iBuyPower has Windows pre-installed without the option to remove it. I only looked at one configurator.

I suspect "most ridiculous" was a translation.

That was from a "review" in 2009, I am not certain with it reliability. Companies attack each other on forums with literately 0 cost.

Having the option to add it or remove it amounts to the same thing in the end.

i dont think u can currently go wrong with eurocom :) just check and see if u can haggle with them a bit, their prices in USD seem to be higher than other US vendors. if youre canadian, then that point is moot :p

It's old. Not an issue any more. I believe they are under new management for NA division at least. They definitely have a different business model. I wouldn't have considered Eurocom in the past, but now, I wouldn't care, they aren't any better or worse than most of the other Clevo dealers.

Eurocom does have the best prices on aftermarket hardware though. I bought 675MX from them with heatsink when 7970M burned, and it was cheaper through them than through Sager, which is what I own... My experience with Eurocom was positive.

Eurocom used to have a really bad reputation several years ago. You can probably find old threads on here filled with complaints. However, from what I've been seeing now, and from recent personal experience, they've really sorted things out, and I don't see a reason not to use them.

I've only had my Eurocom for a couple of weeks and it's been a great experience so far. Even emailed support a couple times and they replied fairly quickly.

I can tel you that there has been a cultural change at Eurocom. We are trying our best to be forward facing and transparent. If you have questions or concerns post them here or PM me directly.
