    Hello,

    I'm interested in buying a Sager 5790, but so far I haven't been able to find a European retailer for Sager notebooks yet (or non-european retailers that ship to Europe, for that matter.)

    Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated :)

    Sager = Clevo

    Check the stickies, one of them has a comprehensive list.

    Gophn, you replied to one of my messages yesterday about a rebranded european unit (AHTEC), but I haven´t been able to find the brand on the list you just mentioned.

    http://www.ahtec.net/

    If you want to check their models out, but you don´t understand any of the available languages, just select the spanish flag and press

    "Ordenadores Portátiles - CONFIGURADORES"

    and there you´ll find a few beauties.

    Just to make sure you don´t forget about it... ;-)

    Damn, everywhere but the UK has nice cheaper laptops >.<. Any other UK resellers apart from Rock? And If I order from another country in Euro what are the disadvantages?

    You could try Evesham in the UK.

    If they pay for shipping for warranty problems and if they have a keyboard that fits your language needs then there are no disadvantiges. Shipping might take a bit longer but shouldnt be more then a day or 2.

    If you pay by credit card your credit card company might charge you 1% for internatinal payments.

    Evesham and Rock both retail the Clevo M570RU, as does DPC, a company based in Italy, but it is far more overpriced, if you're looking at a 7950GTX laptop then I'd suggest the Evesham Zieo NX, the Rock Xtreme 770 and the Alienware m9750, they all sell for the same price configured with a 7950GTX. If you must have Santa Rosa and 4GB of RAM go for the Rock, as you can configure it with a 8700M GT or a 7950GTX (100UKP cost to upgrade)
