Hi there folks. I love this notebook but there is one thing that makes me lose my mind. Battery life. I know that this isnt notebook design to last on battery but 2h is just a pitty (and it drives me mad).

    Setup:
    Clevo P150SM-A
    i7-4900MQ
    12GB Ram
    Intel 530 SSD 240GB
    msata Crucial 120GB SSD
    Radeon R9 M290x
    Prema Bios Mod
    Windows 8.1

Goal is to achieve 3h battery life while useing internet via wifi + 50% lcd brightness (6h total with 2 battery's).

My plan is tweak as much i can bios for power saveing (any tips ?), switching from 100W R9 M290x to 75W GTX 970M and maybe grab extended battery but i was looking for it at ebay and aliexpress without luck. Do You have guys anymore ideas or tips ?

Honestly, the easiest way is to lower your brightness... Other than that, extended battery is the way to go. Any tips are not going to get you much more battery life than what you currently get, imo. With that said, I don't think there's any extended batteries for P150SM-A.

Have you made sure your GPU is not activating by mistake?

Well for now i am stuck with my R9 M290x so i am on catalyst driver at the moment (my 970m will come next week, but i dont know when i will have time to swamp cards). I set to deafult all the settings and i check is power saveing set up in all aps that are under power menagment section in catalyst.
