So I just purchased a "gaming" monitor that boasts a 1 ms response time. Despite being connected to my Sager, can I still take advantage of this? I don't know the response time for the panel in the NP 9150, but I'd like to play my games with the features of the external monitor. Am I actually taking advantage of my new monitor's specs when I use it, or is it just using the laptop panel's specs?

It would use the external monitors specs while playing on the external monitor. It works independently of the built in screen.

Also optimus has no impact on display latency either.
