    Hello,

I'm the owner of a Clevo M570RU on which I spilled a near-empty glass of water a few weeks ago. When I did that, I immediately turned off the computer and dried it as fast as I could.
Then, it was impossible for me to do anything with it : when turning it on again, the backlight won't light, and when the laptop eventually reached the logon screen, I couldn't type my password, as some keys sent random signals... (I supposed that the backlight wasn't really off, but that it was TURNED off by a "Fn + F2" signal sent from the mad keyboard)

The next day, I won't to the office to show my colleagues how sad it was, and... It turned on successfully, backlight on... And when trying to type the numeric chars in my password, nothing came out of the numeric keypad (and yes, NUM LOCK was on). I used the alphanumeric keyboard to log on, waited for a few minutes and then, my numeric keypad started to work again, one key after another.

Now, the keyboard works very well, except one key : the F. For more than a month, I've used the 'ALT + 102' (f) and 'ALT + 70' (F) to type, without being able to explain why THIS particular key wasn't working. When disassembling the machine, I couldn't see anything that could give me a clue, and the computer is working well (apart from this key).

I've read on some forums that clearing the CMOS would maybe solve this problem, and because I have no other idea, I've decided to give it a try... And now it's been an hour I've disassembled the laptop, I couldn't find how to clear the CMOS !

So, I have three questions :
    - How could the F key not work, even if the keyboard seems intact and every other keys are working well ?
    - Could the "Clear CMOS" solution really work ?
    - And last question : how could I clear the CMOS on my M570RU ? Can't find the pin to do it, or even the small battery to remove it...

    Thanks a lot
