I know the FN keys work without the software, but i do like to see the corresponding icons pop up when i do something, however i dislike the power managment it forces on you and the taskbar icon so im wondering if theres a version without those that would work fine on the P150HM?

There isn't any other software that I'm aware of. Either you get all of the above, or nothing. I agree though that the power management part of it can be annoying since Windows already has that feature. The only suggestion I have is to set the power settings at balanced in the hotkeys and never bother with it again. Windows power settings can do the rest. Windows 7 auto-hides the icon for me (so that you have to click the arrow) so it's not even noticeable most of the time.

Shame... but when you have 10 icons hidden already you just dont want another useless one. I guess ill just live without it.
