I have just been tweaking my 7950GTX OC and was on track for my highest score yet...

During return to proxycon I was finally hitting 40fps for a few seconds and the same in firefly forest...everything was going swell untill Canyon FLight at which my fps was at about 7 and didnt really deviate from there!!

But in Deep freeze I was once again gettting my highest fps so far

Any ideas as to why there could be such a problem?

Those are some awesome scores. I'd guess that you are getting low FPS in Canyon Flight because it uses Shader Model 3.0/HDR, which is extremely demanding. Perhaps someone with a similar system could post their scores.

YAY I solved the problem. GPU was throttling so I turned the core down and also decided I might as well replace my stock thermal paste on.

I was left with the following: (Couldnt be bothered typing it all again, so copied and pasted my post from another forum!)

"Hey guys, I don't know if you guys consider OC benchmarks but I'll post them anyway just to
give those who may be interested an idea of what is possible.

The following are on a OC'd XCTX Pro with an upgraded processor, from T7200 to T7600G (but these results could be replicated with a T7600 as I have been unable to use the unlocked multipliers)

This system is outperforming my XPS M1710 of the same specs, due to the fact that it does not throttle at the higher clock speeds like the XPS and also as I use RMClock to apply my own custom settings.

    Anyway down to business.

The following is a screenie of everything I could think of, showing the hardware, 3Dmark06 score and temps underload:

    And Idle:

    3dMark06:

    SM2.0 - 2644
    HDR/SM3.0 - 2570
    CPU - 2322

    Overall - 6399

Ill get some SuperPI times up later."

I meant in terms of the GPU core/mem. I am using AtiTools to do so.
