So I just updated to the new 12.8 (9.0) catalyst. I came from the 12.7 beta.

My issue is that I used to get 120-200 fps ultra settings on 12.7 beta on CSGO and now with 12.8, I only get 30-40 with the same settings.

I've tried adding the program into high performance, etc, etc... I've tried reverting back to 12.7 beta, that didn't help either. Maybe something glitched or maybe it's not running on my AMD 7970 and instead it could be running on the integrated graphics? I'm not sure, and I have no clue how to fix it.

    Anybody have any suggestions?

    A little off-topic but isn't CAP3 the latest?

As for CCC, they said you have to use the older version so that it opens.

Also, you might want this thread moved to gaming and graphics cards. You might have better luck over there.

Sorry. Looks like you're right. The latest is 12.8 CAP 2. My mistake.

yeah but for some reason now whenever i install CCC, my FPS goes to crap. whenever i uninstall CCC, it's wonderful. I think CCC might not be activating the 7970m... Because IDK what else could be wrong. I have the application profiles and drivers installed also.

Uninstall the application profiles and try it. They give me terrible FPS when they are installed, Don't know why they do, I just know that uninstalling them makes things better.
