I dont get it!
My 9262 has a 9650 3.0 Ghz Quad Core and 2048MB SLI 9800 GTX with 3.5 Gigs of Ram since I downgraded to 32 Bit Vista.
Is Vista recognizing my multiple cores???
Is 3.5 Gigs not sufficient for FSX??
I run the game on ultra settings and on 1920x1200 it runs semi smooth but then after about 20 minutes of play the game closes and I get that out of memory message.
I dont have any other major applications running but FSX how much memory does the darn game want???
Is there anything I should download for this SLI and Quad Core setup???

Did you disable your pagefile?
-
whats your pagefile set at?
-
Whats that?
-
Alright, I'll take that as you have it at default settings.
The pagefile is basically virtual RAM, that the OS uses to store information that is not being used at the time. -
What do I do and where do i access this pagefile??
-
go to your System Properties (Windows key + Pause key)
under Advanced tab > Performance Settings > Advanced tab...
under Virtual Memory > Change button.
You want your virtual memory (pagefile) to be about twice the amount of your physical memory... that's rule of thumb. -
Agreed. I generally disable my pagefile and things work a lot better, with the exception of FSX which is the only app that started complaining (out of memory). Maybe someone configured your system for you and reduced the pagefile?

The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
My 2GB RAM 9262 ran it well.I played it only once though.I think it might be some thing else.Driver may be?

I have never had a memory issue with FSX and I also have just 2 GB of RAM on my NP9262. Doubt if it is insufficient RAM that is causing your problem.
FSX Out of memory message!
