Woke up this morning and tryd to start my notebook. And there it is again the dimmed black screen in bios.. But not only that. After turning off all the lights in room and using lamp I watch as it was turning on. But sudenly after the windows starting logo were finished I got a error message.

    Code:
0xc0000002 The boot selection failed because required device is inaccessible
This just came out of the blue.. Man second time on the black dimmed screen issue.. And last time it was actually the gfx card not the inverter, LCD cable or the LCD screen. I Switched all those last time with no luck and a lot of wasted money. Thanks to the IT tech and myself.. So my experince says that it is the gfx card thats somthing wrong it? I hate this clevo m570tu seriusly.. Mabey its the motherboard that fries the cards? Well far out but whatever.

Tryd flash the Vbios to the orginal one but that didn't help.

    Edit:
The FX 3700M is very new like a few weeks. and was brand new.

Only Bios settings iv done anything with is the VGA bios.

You should try flashing the system BIOS, maybe try using another boot disk.
The worst case would be the motherboard having been slowly affected by a non-standard VGA card.

I got the latest BIOS for the m570tu. Should i just re flash it with the same version or flash it with a older version? Another boot disk? You mean a different hdd with a OS on?

I would still flash with (same) latest BIOS and reinstall Windows. Hopefully it is just a transient error.

Tryd that went trough it all with a flash light since the screen is dimmed even in BIOS. Thats whats consurns me.. Because this is what happen to my old gtx 8800M as mentioned before. And that ended up with buying new LCD Display, Inverter board and LCD Cabel witch didn't solve it because it was the gfx card.

So i doubt its any of the common issue when it comes to the black dimmed screen issue. Since everything is new. So that would point to my gfx is dead.. Or my Motherboard is something wrong with.

I can run windows PE just fine so iv done some test s on my HDD and its 100% fine. Ram is 100 fine. I can not test the gfx card from PE. Since its running standar vga and doesnt detect my card.

Also I have taken the card in and out changed thermal on it and yeah .. that didnt fix it..

    Code:
0xc0000002 The boot selection failed because required device is inaccessible
What device does that point too?

Am close to trowing this f*** money sink in the trash.. Am at 754$ including labor and this new gfx card. On this old crap. Its like gambling cant stop since your already in to much..

Try another graphics card, if you have one, and see if you get the same problem. If the problem persists it may be a motherboard problem.

Yeah wish I had that. So basicly my option is to send it in again I know the tech got a mxm 2.1 card to check it. But 120$ just ot check that out is getting harsh for me now spent way to much on this old chumb.

Why would you send it in? Are you incapable of working on laptops? You should learn.
You should also RMA the card if you don't have anything else to test. Alantech is a good company.

This does NOT sound like a graphics issue! Since when do we boot from graphics cards?
Your hard drive could be the cause of the problem.
The m570tu and RU have had more problems than anything else, I think it is because of the voltage circuitry being pushed to the limit honestly.
Until you find another card to try you won't know if it is your motherboard or not. Also if you haven't connected it to an external monitor, do that.
That looks like an LCD issue to me.

Hey, I can easily change the card myself but i need one to test it and it would prolly cost the same as sending it in to the tech that got a mxm 2.1 he card. Problem with the screen is its dimmed black again. I whent thru changing everything from Invert, LCD display and cabel non of this solved it. The tech tested another video card and it was fine. Bought a new FX 3700M and it worked fien untill now.

So im afraid the card is dead again. And the motherboard has caused it.

External screen wont work at boot on the laptop. Only when the video driver is active. So I cant test because of the boot error.

Maybe it is time to avoid spending further money on this laptop repairs, unless you replace both the motherboard and video card at the same time.
