    Sup guys,
So I was wondering if there is any way to get a custom fan profile on my P157SM.

Due to my newly made heatsink the temps are downright insane, however due to the very bad fanprofile the fans will only start spinning very late. When playing games like Mafia 2, Dota 2 etc. the fan is turned off but temps will rise in the 60s (yes, I'm playing games like these passive cooled LuL). When playing more damnding games such as witcher 3 and Mafia 3, the temps are rising to high 60s until low 70s and fan is barely spinning, which bothers me a little bit, sure it's nice to have a very quiet GPU fan but I'd rather have 40s or 50s temp and a little bit louder fan, rather than high temps and nearly no noise, especially since the CPU Fan still is annoying as it gets.

Also, I was wondering, I've read that you can use some weird fn + 1 max fanmode (assume like on MSI) but It never worked for me, even with Premamod installed. Any ideas why?

The FN and 1 hotkey should work, in or out of the OS. Things like that and the fan behavior are tied to the EC firmware.

I'm curious: What did you do to your heatsink to get temps like that?? I must have missed that post.

Didn't post it yet, just finished the mod today alongside some pretty hefty speakermod. In terms of sound the notebook should be around the 95% best speakers now. More on that later however when I finihsed figuring out what is going on.

Well the hotkey doesn't seem to work at all. Fans are as silent as ever. I have Premamod EC + BIOS, so I'm kinda confused as to why it won't do anything, or do I have to use it while ingame?

    Nice!

Maybe an idiosyncrasy of his mod? We're not a PREMA partner, so I can't say for sure. It's supposed to function anywhere at anytime once the computer has POSTed, even in the BIOS setup.

As far as I know it should work with prema mod no problem. Odd. So to get it straight, if I press FN +1 then it should ramp fans up to 100% no matter what, correct?

It's Fn+9 on some versions of premamod

And yes it's a toggle for max fans, do the key combo again to return it to auto fan control.

Maybe on your keyboard revision your Windows key has been switched with the FN key.

    Press 'Win' + '1'or '9'

If that toggles it swap the key caps.
