    1. Has anyone who breceived a 9150 in the past month had keyboard ghosting, most notably with W + E + Spacebar?
    2. I've heard many things about the Sager speakers, from "decent" and "better than Alienware's" to "the worst-sounding laptop in human history". It's bewildering, because professional reviews suggest that the sound is sufficient, and that the MSI's Dynaudio speakers aren't significantly better. Is it the speakers most people take issue with or the headphone jacks?
    3. What's the verdict on the touchpad?

I don't want to buy an MSI GT60, but that model seems to lack these stupid problems.

Granted, the Clevo/Sager community on this site is much larger than the MSI community, and the new MSI models are unknown quantities, so comparing the number and extent of complaints may be unfair.

    1. Make sure the company you buy from test the keyboard well before they ship to you.
    2. Sound: it depends you like Onkyo or Dynaudio. For me, I do not feel any difference.
    3. I always like the touch pad Clevo use.

I haven't seen any keyboard ghosting, but I have had a few missed key presses with left ctrl and left shift, but you just have to press the keys more in the center.

Other than that I have had zero problems sound (via headphones) and touchpad are fine - this laptop is awesome

    1. nvr had a keyboard problem here and i game on a wide variety of mmo's, rts, and fps.
    2. the speakers are fine. they're nice and crisp. the subwoofer does nothing though i'll tell you that but what would anyone expect from that little dinky thing? The THX makes everything come together very nicely.
    3. touch pad is fine, no issues.

Go here, click the keyboard at top, then press multiple key combinations, especially the normal control keys (wsad) plus shift and spacebar and you will see that some combos will not activate.

Last bump before I choose which laptop to buy. Does anyone have strong opinions for or against the 95% gamut matte screen? I read the thread about that screen and gaming, and I would have to decrease the size of my SSD to get it.

I think everyone I've seen that has ordered the 95% matte screen just loves it. It is a really nice screen. While it might not benefit games much you will see how much nicer of a screen it is when you get it. I would decrease the size of the SSD to get it as you can always upgrade that later if you want, the screen is a harder part to find and install.

you promise its the last bump :D

no kkeyboard ghosting or dodgy feeling keys. have missed a few letters though as its a totally different layout keyboard that im used to. didnt like it at first but after 2 hours i was happy with it.

speakers arent the best in the world but ok for normal stuff. not heard much out of bass speaker but if i want bass i will wire up my 1000watt a side and jbl sub bass bin while gaming. it vibrates the whole street :D

im actually totally blown away with the STANDARD matte screen. tbh i cant see how a 72% or 95% can get any better. some outside pictures just to compare it to my old m860tu glosy screen can be found > http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/682653-mysn-uk-xmg-p502-received.html

I would go with the advice to reduce SSD size, you wil probably want a new one before you fill 512GB. Also I asume you have a 2nd drive to add to the system, SSD is a good drive but mate it with a HD for your user files and any heavy write work you do (video compression , downloads etc.), will save the life of your SSD.

Why you goign 1103 Killer? you lose bluetooth? with 1102 you get Bluetooth 4.0. Just a question, something to think about.

I also recommend a blueray reader, for the money its worth it.

Also why not get the drive caddy for the OD bay? Handy dandy for imaging and back ups.

Consider a second power brick, one for the bag, one for home.

but slick nice system, you wont be disappointed.

Speakers are great in mine, I had actually purchased a gt60 and then returned it because I wasn't happy with it. I think the only speakers are just as good if not better. I have had zero keyboard ghosting and the track pad works great, although I mostly use an external mouse.

I added the 512gb Crucial m4 because I want the speeds of an SSD, it's a good deal for $355, and I want to avoid installing another hard drive for as long as possible. However, I'll keep that consideration in mind.

I don't use Bluetooth. What is it good for?

Getting an optical bay hard drive caddy seems clunky. I think I would prefer an external hard drive. Has anyone had problems with eSata?

I want to get the 95% gamut matte screen, but my reseller doesn't offer calibration and I don't know if I can buy software to calibrate it. Should I do so?

Why would having an hdd in the optical bay be clunky? The reason it's done is so you can have the speed of the ssd and size of the hdd. Optical drives just aren't used that much anymore, so it's easier to have an external one. It's far more clunky to use an external hdd all the time. The only reason to keep the optical internal is if you use it all the time.
As for the calibration, you can download calibration profiles. It's not perfect, as they are done on other screens, but good enough. If you need proper calibration for photo editing etc, it's better getting your own calibration tool.
