    wait 1 more thing i just noticed the 200g 7200rpm is 16 cache will it be faster then the the 320g 5200rpm 8 cache?

    our specs are almost the same, except u chose to have the blu-ray and full body paint.
    as for me, i think blu-ray is not necessary for the current time, and the custom paint, i just can't wait that long...
    ;p

    k thx. well i dont have a ps3 and i just wanted to watch blu rays on vacation :D I just really dont like the base way the lappie looks so im gonna have to just decide on what i want it too look like. Probably black n white for the lols

    I dunno about the 9262, but my 5793 receives signal from both the remotes through the on-board IR... my USB receiver found its way to the trash. Also, I bought the "upgrade" to Express Card remote but I received both the standard and the Express remote. :cool:

    Awesome setup dude, I was looking at those, but OMFG they are big and heavy.

    how r u going to paint ur laptop?
    before, i plan to paint it all with macbook white scheme and then put my logo on it.. maybe in the future, when i have more patience... lol

    Blue Ray is next to useless on a 17" screen. High-def is barely noticable on such a small screen. Save the money and get a PS3 for your home system.

    Paint jobs 'are' throwing away money.

    I bought the same machine, except after researching on THIS forum, I got the 320gb drives (much less hot and not appreciably slower).
    No BD drive - see above (no I don't already have BD).
    3 year parts warranty - things like HDD do fail over time.
    X-FI sound card - I like surround sound at home.

    PS As far as wanting you to waste your money, you are on the wrong forum. And anybody who needs to PIMP their computer with a custom paint job should not complain about wasting their money.

    blue ray is noticeable and i will be streaming it. have u ever downloaded 1080p content my friend? there a huge difference even on a 15 inch screen let a lone a 17"er. the paint job is done with high quality automotive paint and looks amazing. ( u can look at them on xoticpc.) Perosnally that sound card is that more of a waste then anything else.

    Study the AVerTV Hybrid NanoExpress that I linked to in my post #39 on the next page back. It fits in the ExpressCard slot with nothing sticking out...it is a far better tuner that any that are built in.

    Like I said, the on-board IR on the front of my 5793 not only responds to both MCE remotes without the USB receiver, but it responds BETTER than the USB receiver... so I got rid of it because it serves ZERO PURPOSE, and I don't have to fill up a precious USB slot... I'm not sure if the 9262 works this way, but both machines are Clevos of the same generation...

    >>> the only exception for the receiver I can think of is if I wanted to use the remote for a system without on-board IR, but I never will, so I slam-dunked the poor thing in a dumpster.
