thats a good setup, I would recommend the killer wireless though its much better than the intel card. also if you only play games and dont do any virtual machines you wont be needing the full 16gb of ram. 8 should do it. but.you to tell us a bit more about what you are intending to do with the machine, i personally went for 128gbs of ssd storage, i just didnt need more.
how expensive is the machine as configured?

Display : Nice Screen 95% Gamut is really nice you won't be disapointed with that one.
Processor: Good one for gaming or HD stream (more would be for virtualization purposes)
Memory: More than enough... (personnaly i'd go for 8Gb 1600Ghz)
Graphics Card: Good choice, good waiting (really late ETA on this one)
Hard Drive:Crucial is nice brand, good speeds.
Optical Drive Bay:750Gb is nice for files stockage (~171 HD720p Movies)
    Operating System:good
Wireless: Sincerely this is a good choice, most of people go for the Killer-1105 card but this one is ready for 450mb Wifi norm, which will be nearly everywhere soon)
Cooling: Best OEM paste from system builders

You made the good choice, thought there's some points you can review like RAM amount or Stockage drive Space.

    Have fun

I would also suggest getting faster RAM even if it means less of it. Unless you actually need a full 16GB most people never push 8GB. Having faster RAM benefits you more then More RAM that you never use. For example if you're only using 4GB of RAM for everything you're doing it will be faster if the RAM is 1600MHZ. If you had 16GB 1333mhz and still only using 4GB that RAM would run at 1333mhz and the other 12GB would just hang out waiting to be used.

I'll be using it for everyday use (university, browsing etc...) and gaming (I usually love to bump up graphics but not if performance is hit. I know that this laptop will be able to handle almost all games.

I would prefer 256GB for space especially since the performance will be hit if the drive starts becoming full. I know that 16GB RAM is too much but I saw that having 4 RAMs is better (2 dual channels or something like that)

Is the 8GB 1600Mhz better than 16GB 1333 in terms of performance? Hutsady just answered my question, I think it would be better to get the 8GB 1600Mhz. I could get more sticks later if needed

I think the Intel wireless card is okay because I mainly play games on a wired connection. The bigfoot one is $40 more expensive

Also is the screen calibration worth it?

    As configured, it costs $2000

The channeling of the memory (dual, triple, quadri) is a technology that speeds up the bandwith. Having more so-dimms change nearly nothing on your usage.

The bigfoot killer is aimed for wireless gamers, if you are hybrid-gamer (wired/wireless) you should get 6300 Ultimate (great range and bandwidth)
