Hello, I just recently got myself a Sager NP2096 and I can't seem to get the right program and/or driver to get the fingerprint reader working. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I am running Windows Vista 64-bit.

If you can't install the biometrics driver from the CD, try the driver on Sager's website.

You're right, it isn't there. Try calling or emailing Sager for the driver. The guys in the Compal forum can also help.

You can get the fingerprint software/driver direct from compal here - you have the JHL90/91

It wasn't on the driver cd for my NP8662 either. But it didn't really bother me as I dislike fingerprint readers anyways. :D

if you are talking about the integrated finger print reader, it does not show up in the device manager.
