    Hi.

    Authentec Fingerprint Software doesnt seem to work with Firefox 30...
    I have P150EM. Where can we download the newest fingerprint software?

    sadly you cant as the company went defunct.

    their may be some sites which have older drivers but they will be the same if firefox 30 is to blame.

    will check tonight as all i use is firefox.

    Authentec didn't go defunct, but they were acquired by Apple, so we will not be seeing their software on Clevo systems anymore. Some models are now using Egis Tech, but the Egis drivers won't work on the PxxxEM models as far as we know.

    all i know is every website that had their drivers on went dead and it wasnt common knowledge to the general public of what happened so i guessed they went under.

    bought out by Apple, isnt that the same thing then as they are now defunct to every single owner on every single laptop except apple.

    More or less, although the company is still intact. They made quite a nice profit off of the acquisition, at least. :cool:

    If you use Mozilla Firefox V3.x it is not possible to use the Truesuite Authentec Fingerprint Software (V1.x or V2.x) for a log-on to a website which requires username and password by using the fingerprints.
    To prevent this, you should install Authentec Fingerprint Software V3.0.1.30 or higher.

    But I cant find 3.x or higher :/

    Tools > Add-ons > Plugins > Turn the Fingerprint plugin to always on.
    It still works.
