    As the title says, is there any way to fit the new style 2.6mm mountless panels into older laptops that use the older 3.2mm panels with the four mounts?

    Double sided foam tape would work physically.

    So are these screens usually fixed in place with tape/glue in the laptops that come with them?

    I'd say its screwed to the back panel plastic, not glued
