    Just wanted to share.

Since I couldn't seem to get used to the "brushed" feeling of the touchpad and had some left over screen protector from my mobile phone, i decided to try and see if it would work when i cover it up.

Turned out very smooth and similar feel to my phone :D

    Nice fit..

Just curious does anyone sell those fingerprint readers for the mousepad? Mine does not have one and would like a fingerprint reader for security. Can you boot-up place finger then get access to Win 7 with it?

Awesome! I've gone through a few of those on my phone and they dont leave any type of goo or residue so if you ever feel like removing it you should be good.

If you've never used a fingerprint reader before, that's what they do if you get them set up. You just register your fingerprints and tie it to your Windows login. That way you can just swipe your finger at the login screen (or with plugins to be used in browsers).

    Thnx Malibal.
Anyone know where to get that mousepad part(with fingerprint reader) from or is it only from Clevo when building the system..?
    Curious.

Which model do you need it for? You should be able to replace the topcase with the topcase that has the FP reader and you should be good

Is there an option when ordering to have a laptop made without the reader?
