Is it in any way possible to fix the dead green jack on my M571RU-U, by using a soldering iron? I very little feel like sending in my laptop and having to wait for 2 weeks because of such a small issue. My black jack is also dead, and I really need it for connection to my flat screen.

I would not do the soldering.

I would just get a warranty replacement right before the warranty is up for the notebook. ;)
