sorry if this might not be on the right thread.

got my sager 5793 last friday and i thought about updating my bios.
my question is how do i check if it is needed or updated, then how do i go about flashing it. i have never done it and i really don't want a sager paper weight.

i am running vista ult. 64 bit.

bios is not dependent on the os. it doesnt no or care what you are running. flashing the bios will be fine so long as you dont lose power during it and even if it does fail it would be covered under warranty.

why are you so insistant on upgrading the bios, you dont even know if it has any problems? it should be kept at a its not broken dont fix it principal.
