    Hi all,

Im playing FC3 on optimal settings, everything to the max and its running at avg 45fps and smooth as you like. The only problem is im getting random screen flashing, I tried to record in FRAPS but it doesnt pick the flashing up for some reason.
with this in mind could it be something to do with the refresh rate and would i need to adjust settings in Radeon Pro app? Great game but this screen flashing is a bit annoying

    Cheers

Does this happen on an external monitor?

Haven't heard of this with FC3 - or really with any modern games - so I would advise checking your driver and trying an external monitor, if available, as Meaker alluded to. Does the flashing occur only during FC3?

Yep, only on FC3. Its almost like screen tearing but a quick flash of screen like a flicker. Playing TR and C3 on almost max and no problems at all.
Not tried external monitor as dont have one im afraid. Im using Beta 7

Must have been corrupt textures on the install or similar then.

Same thing happened with Fifa 13 as well, uninstalled, reinstalled then it worked fine. Very odd... but sorted :D

Make sure your memory and SSD are ok, because happening twice is very odd.

Check them physically or run some tests?

MemTest may or may not deliver, if there are problems. Be sure to let it run several passes to get the most accurate feedback if you use it.
