    Flickering and LAN issue on a new w230st

    Hello,

    I just bought a w230st and I updated to the latest nvidia drivers running windows 7 ultimate. sometimes when it comes back from sleep or i change resolutions the screen blinks resizes slightly then returns to the normal position

    Also I installed the realtek combo drivers and the lan wired connection does not work. Any advice to solve these problems?

    The flicker is not something I've seen before. You may want to try doing a clean installation of your video drivers (when you run the NVidia installer again, do the custom install option, then check the "clean install" tick box). If the flicker continues, try removing the NVidia driver altogether and see if it happens with the Windows native driver. Hopefully we can rule out a hardware issue. :)

    Realtek combo card driver? The integrated LAN driver is separate from WLAN/combo card drivers. Check your Device Manager to see if you have any notifications on the driver status. If the driver installed properly but you still have the same problem, see if it's your cable or network. If not, it's possible that it's a virus or even a bad connection at the port.
