I'm the proud new owner of a Sager NP8278-S (Clevo P170SM-A) purchased through XoticPC but shipped direct from Sager.
I haven't put it down since receiving it from UPS about 35 hours ago.
The manual mentions I can toggle the charging enabled status of the Powered USB 3.0 Port by using a Function Key + Power Button hotkey.
For me, this simply results in the computer powering off (as would be expected by pushing the power button).
How else can I enable / disable the powered USB port? I leave external portable hard drives (WD My Passport Ultra 2TB) plugged into all three USB 3.0 ports (I have them gaffer-taped to the back of the LCD) and want to make sure the one hooked up to the powered port isn't drawing power after I shut down my system.
Thanks!

Perhaps this hotkey only works when powered off. My bad.
