Not sure if this is the right section to post this but I have the Sager 5960/Clevo M590KE and when I leave it overnight for downloads, I usually find it rebooted in the morning. I even hear it reboot during the night. I have checked automatic updates and its set on Download but Don't Install. I know my laptop isn't overheating because its idling in the high 40's. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

If your OS has an automatic reboot feature enabled it may be that something on your system is failing which causes the reboot. You can change this option so it will give you a chance to see what caused the problem. Windows XP and Vista both have it enabled by default if you are using either of these OS's and it is a replacement to the Blue Screen of Death which was the default in the previous Windows OS's.

I'm not on my windows machine now but if you are using either of these OS's it will depend on how you have your control panel configured. I believe it can be accessed through the "System Properties" or "System" option and then select the "Advanced" tab and the "Startup and Recovery Options" button. If you haven't found it by then I can post detailed instructions later from my laptop.

This will allow you to see the error when it crashes and find the source based upon what caused the fault. Driver issues are common for this, especially video card drivers.
