Hi ppl,
After much thought I'm considering on the following components for my P150EM:
CPU: Intel Core i7 Quad Core 3720QM (Because I use VM's + more clock power and little better iGPU compared to 3610) + Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra Paste
Monitor: 15.6” FHD 16:9 LED Stock Matte Type Screen
GPU: AMD ATI HD 7970M 2Gb DDR5 + Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra Paste
Primary Drive (Sata 3): OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 120Gb (from my old P150HM)
Secondary Drive (Sata 2): OCZ Agility 3 240Gb (from my old P150HM)
Third Drive (mSata): OCZ Nocti SSD 120 GB
RAM: 16GB HyperX 1866MHz PNP (from my old P150HM)
Wireless Card: KILLER™ 1102 Wireless Gaming 802.11N
Total: +- 1600€, since I'm gonna sell my "old" P150HM for 1000€, it's 600€ for the upgrade.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions or tips?
Thank you,
Best Regards to all

How is the iGPU better, don't they all use 4000? Though VM good enough.
Waste of money to have someone apply thermal when you can do it for 1/3 price in 5 min and ensure its done right.
I don't see what you are asking. You have all the parts from your old machine....
FYI the 1866 ram will just be downclocked to 1600, 150em doesn't over clock. -

2- About the memorys, please check my post:

It rly works on 1866Mhz on my P150HM so on the new P150EM, it will also work. Its the memory that overclocks itself not otherwise
Regarding the Agility 3 on Sata 2, I know it's a waste... but unfortunately I already had it from another laptop... So why not use it?
Best Regards to all -
The iGPU in the i7-3720QM has a slightly higher maximum frequency compared to that in the i7-3610QM (1.1GHz vs 1.25GHz). Not a huge difference, but could be significant for some uses.

As for the OP's post, i'd go with a secondary HDD... do you REALLY have that many apps? Music/docuemnts/videos (media) don't need SSDs -
IF you do however decide to get that mSata, that is one indeed cool setup. -
For memory, it does not overclock itself, that's rubbish. Its controlled.by the CPU and the multipliers. P150em does not support XMP or overclocking. It will default to 1600, even Sager resellers.confirmed, 1866 is a waste.

hehe let me introduce you to THIS, buy 1866 if you want a stable 2133 clock without bugs

Well 1866MHz would be future proof and should be more stable at 1600MHz compared to 1600 MHz RAM. It's like having 1066MHz RAM today... it's almost useless unless you have an old laptop.

Hi ppl,
Just to say that I BOUGHT IT, eheheh
Here are the specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 Quad Core 3720QM (Because I use VM's + more clock power and little better iGPU compared to 3610) + Arctic Silver 5 Paste
Monitor: 15.6” FHD 16:9 LED Stock Matte Type Screen
GPU: AMD ATI HD 7970M 2Gb DDR5 + Arctic Silver 5 Paste
Primary Drive (Sata 3): OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 120Gb
Secondary Drive (Sata 2): OCZ Agility 3 240Gb
RAM: 16GB HyperX 1866MHz PNP (and yes, it rly works at the 1866Mhz)
Wireless Card: KILLER™ 1102 Wireless Gaming 802.11N
I'm very happy with my new toy
Thanks for the feedback
Best Regards to all. -
