that have been wanting a gaming 17" powerhouse.

As an example, at Starmicro the T9300 is $296 after S&H. You can get 4GB DDR3 memory from Newegg for $155 and a 320GB HDD for $70 from Memorylabs
bringing your total to $1,531.00 incl tax and S&H.

The prices I listed are just a few examples from my 10 minute search. This GB is geared more for those who have their own sources for discounted parts or already have parts and want a barebones Clevo at a barebones price. I myself won't need to buy any components to put this Clevo into service and for others that have parts already, for as little as $980+S&H you can having a formidable gaming system.

It would need to be a GB of 5 or more. That is how resellers can reduce the cost, by selling in volume.

It is only offered as part of this GB.

As a reference point, I was unable to locate the NP5793 as a barebones
on any of the Clevo│Sager reseller websites I visited.

This is, in part, why the GB was drafted.

I was almost gonna leave the forums forever since I don't get the language. So does that base price include the GPU and the Blu-ray drive?

 

Yes, it does take some adjustment and there is a lot that I have
to Google since I am not "up" on most of it.

The Group Buy price includes the 9800GTS and the Blueray player.

I am in for one so the GB needs 4 more.

 

Can you list what comes with the group buy price of $980? If any of the below comes with it, what model?
Screen?
Ram?
HDD?
CPU?
Wifi?


If I can understand the deal I may buy the other 4.

So no HDD, no Wireless card, no ram and no cpu. Well the current deal on the xoticpc is better then.

 

Not better, equal to.

As I said, this GB might be better suited to someone that has spare hardware
or a source for hardware at better than retail pricing.

But again, xotic pricing is not better than but rather equal to.

This group buy never received the required 5 interested buyers to proceed forward, if there are 5 buyers now, then this GB can more forward. There is also a GB for the OCZ Whitebook but that too didn't generate enough interest. Anyone can reply here or PM me if they wish to be added to the list
and wait for that list to reach the required 5.
