Hi, I have a P177SM-A with a broken 880m. Which cards can I put in? And will it need an unlocked Bios?

Standard MXM sized cards like the 1060 would fit well. No modded BIOS needed.
-
Only the latest Bios is enough?
-
And it must be a Clevo Card?
-

Clevo are using a custom sized card now so it can't be Clevo.
-
Ok, so a Quadro P4000 or a Zotac GTX 1060 with MSI VBios could work?

I've not heard of Vbios issues with the cards for as much as that is worth.

The Quadro P4000 doesn’t work with the P177SM-A. Code 43

Did the driver install at all?
-
Yes I think so. At the end it says: reboot now

It should give you a report if it installed correctly. Did you have driver signing disabled?
-
A Report? Where to find?
Yes, I disabled the Driver Signature. -

At the end in the driver installation screen and:

In the end of the Driver Installation was all successful installed. But after the reboot the Devicemanager says: code 43, device or something was stopped.

It does sound like a firmware conflict then. What was the source of the GPU?
-
From where I bought the card?
-

More the system it came out of.
-
The P4000 came from a Dell Precision 7720
-
electrosoft Perpetualist Matrixist
