    Hey guys,

Just some quick questions that aren't really a big problem but would be better if I could fix them.

I am using hwinfo64 and msi afterburner but I can't read GPU temperatures. Only when games are on does the GPU temps start working (not on start up). I have the 7970 just fyi.

Second, I have installed the SSD (Samsung 830) just raw without any additional part in the slot. Is this all right? I have some paranoia that it will disconnect on its own.

    Thanks!

for your question about the SSD, it will stay in place, there is very little extra room in the drive bays

Mine is not held in by anything and not once has it come loose to port is quite stiff.

HWINFO sensors should display the temps for the GPU, they will only increase however when you are running a game otherwise they will clock down and sit at a cool idle temp.

download gpuz and on second tab (sensor) click on the gpu temp dropdown box and click max.

Yeah you need to start a game first before Afterburner starts showing GPU temperature, at least that's how it works on my laptop.
