    GPU works on x4 GTX 1080

    Hello. I have a problem. After update bios. My GPU run max on x4 speed ... I try reinstall drivers, change power managment. Still max is x4 not x16 ... Any ideas ?

    Laptop is P775DM3G GTX1080 7700K Premabios.

    Reset BIOS to default.

    I reset. Now I put new system. This same problem. This will after update to bios dsnake.

    Clean off the card's mxm connector with rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't fix it then the card has broken solder connections, or the motherboard slot is damaged.

    But all is stable. I clean the connectors of gpu and motherboard. This gpu is stable, cpu and ram

    But i test Furmark this gpu at 1080P and I have Score 7541.

    x4 isn't going to limit GPU speed much in most situations. You'll lose a few % at the most. Sometimes you won't lose anything.

    There is a specific test but if you are worried speak to the BIOS developer.
