I just bought a Sager N8130 and I wanted to overclock the 560m to play arkham city on higher settings.

    With MSI afterburner i set:

    875 Core
    1750 Shaders
    1550 DDR5

and got a 3 to 4 fps increase on the benchmark.

So i pushed it a little more to 900/1800/1625. The game crashed and since then the first settings do not increase fps at all anymore.

Im new to overclocking but it seems like nothing i do makes the slightest difference. What am i missing? Has anyone else had this issue?

Leave your memory clock stock... doesn't make any difference and I've burnt out a couple of cards that way.
Ive found OCing graphics cards hardly does much... so I've learnt to just buy the one that would suit my needs, so I bought the 6990m

The 560M is a weak card to begin with. OC'ing it will not give you much performance, but significantly increase risk of burning the card.
