No no i did not flash anything. I did not even change the processor myself I ordered it this way from gentechpc. they did all the work and i received the finished unit. I did not do any overclocking or anything I just updated drivers. Even the BIOS i did not update.
As to thermal paste it is IC Diamond 24 Carat Thermal Compound on both CPU/GPU.

At this point I would contact them, there may be an issue with the unit.

Yes you are hitting some sort of cpu throttle, its not temperature or power limit related.

How come? combined test scores are almost the same, physics scores too. the only big change is with the graphics score. can the cpu throttle the graphics card.

Oh sorry, did not see they were new results, I am suspecting the power brick may not be working correctly.

yes i am suspecting the same too. I did a few more tests, one first one I got p6000 second p6000 third p5400 then after that did two more tests with results belo 5300. In all those test i have had turned off speedstep and turboboost from the bios. combined score was consistent in all 5 tests, but the graphics score this time took a drastic plunge between the tests.
I am looking to either update bios and/or do a clean os installation without MSI's turbo stuff.

What do you mean by power brick not working correctly. Can it be fixed or should i return the unit to the retailer.

Power bricks are usually replaced rather than repaired, I take it no one has a similar rated supply you could try?

Talk to your supplier, they may have seen this issue before, show them the throttle graphs and what you have found so far.

    Hi!
    I have Clevo P170HM with GTX-680M
    About throttling......
When GPU reach - 89 °C (FurMark Benchmark) Core Clock decrease from 719 Mhz..... to 666 Mhz ! And temperature decrease to 88 °C

    Is it normal ?

    P.S When I had GTX-580M (Before).... My GTX-580M had warming up to 96....98 °C without throttling !

    Thanks

Yes that is normal behavior. Working as intended.
