Do you mean this?

Oh oh are we embarking onto hardcore GPU votlmodding lol!

I mean voltage changes via software. Similar to the desktop nVidia graphics cards. Or is it impossible with the CHL8225 chip?
-
maybe im missing something....just how do you propose to "power on the card" and make changes or test different parts of the board to see if voltage is increased enough or not at all?

I won´t increase the voltage! I want decrease the voltage to reduce the temperature and power consumption. A test of voltage changes is to find out the max clock frequencies?! Example:
0,850V ... ~ 520 / 1040 MHz GPU overclocking
0,825V ... ~ 450 / 900 MHz GPU overclocking (example/estimated)
I hope next NiBiTor can change the GTX 480M voltage as at GTX 285M (example). -
The problem is, I've experimented quite a bit with rambios, nibitor, fermi bios editor and even winhex, trying to set a higher voltage than 0.95v for demanding 3D mode. Unfortunately, I've read from MVKtech that as they can't find evidence in the GTX460M bios for it to support a voltage other than 0.85v and 0.95v, the only thing possible with Nibitor(newest version 6.0) is to modify the clockrates.
I've read on this forum about your wonderful work--modifying GTX480M's voltage from 0.85v to 0.9v. Therefore if by any chance you can try to help me change the highest voltage of GTX460M from 0.95v to 1v or 1.05v, I'd be vvvery grateful.Attached Files:
