Hello people. I am having some problem with my Clevo P770ZM, and I really need your help.
When ever I play video game, I always prefer to have solid 60fps. Therefore, when I buy any video game, I go to video setting menu, and change the settings, than boom, I have solid 60 fps.
However, there are some moments that I sometime get 40 ~ 45 fps, for no reason, I did not change the video setting, and when I unplug my charger and re - plug it, the frame rate rise up to 60 fps again.
I've checked gpu -z and found out that when this happens, the gpu clock speed is around mid 800 ~ mid 900 mhz, which is 15 ~ 20% lower than typical boost clock, 1126mhz.
Also, this does not happens when I use 352.84 driver, which is the earliest driver. Anything other than 352.84, there is some performance drop - even 362.00 driver. Can anyone help me? Thanks
PS: I am currently using windows 10 pro.

Probably throttle. If you are already using the Mod then it can only be temperature induced.
If you are still using the factory vBIOS, just click my signature and flash the mod version of the MXM vBIOS and it'll be fixed.Last edited: Apr 11, 2016i_pk_pjers_i and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

ALL stock GPUs will throttle, you can change them a million times...it's their default behavior.
If you don't want these dips to happen then you will have to use a mod...that's why we make them.Spartan@HIDevolution and Papusan like this. -

MSI afterburner will give you a clue as to the reason you are getting reduced speeds, it's worth looking at your CPU temperatures too.

Before doing this, save your stock BIOS using GPU-Z and place it somewhere safe in case you want to go back to stock for warranty claims in the future
1) Extract the VBIOS folder and place that folder in the root of C: for ease of access via DOS
2) Rename the folder to an easy name like VBIOS
3) Launch Command Prompt As Admin
4) Open Device Manager, find your graphics card, right click on it, and select DISABLE
5) in the DOS Window, type cd\ to go back to the root of C:
6) Type cd VBIOS (or whatever folder name you renamed the VBIOS folder to)
7) type modme then hit enter
8) you will then get a prompt if you want to confirm, press Y then hit enter
9) wait for a few seconds till you get a message that the flash was successful and a reboot is required
10) go back to device manager and re-enable your graphics card
11) reboot and enjoyPrema, i_pk_pjers_i and EORUCIGN like this. -

Remember when flashing not to have programs like GPU/System monitoring applications running.
