OK guys, for those who are wondering if the GTX675M can game or not. I've uploaded a small 7 minute gameplay video of Max Payne 3 I just got. all is running on the Mythlogic Nyx1712 with a GTX675M.
settings maxed out except for AA since seldom use it in anything. The video was taken with Fraps halved. Enjoy :)

What drivers are you using? I tried 265.59 and when I attempt to play Skyrim, the game crashes. 301.34 beta drivers have been released but they only appear to support the GTX 650M.

302.xx whql and the new 304.48 beta drivers both support the whole 600M series gpus (except for the upcoming 680M of course ;))

    Driver version: 8.17.13.259
    in the device manager

the 304.48 beta isn't working for me, it refuses to install for me even with modded inf files.

Yea I used the Verde version :( I'll give it another try today just to get my doubts aside. I really like the current driver I'm on so I was wondering how better is it to this new one.

well perf.-wise theres just a veeery slight boost, if any (about 0.5% in my benches) so u could just as well stick to the 302.xx until the next whql release :)

Are you absolutely certain it is the nVidia drivers that are causing the issues?

You could try running WhoCrashed to see if there is something else going on that is causing the issues. WhoCrashed 3.03 - CNET Download.com

Also, have you tried removing the drivers in Windows Safe Mode under the Control Panel > Programs and Features then re-installing the drivers using the Custom install and checking the box to "Perform a Clean Installation".

Driver sweeper may also help, you will have to run it after you remove the drivers first and it has to be run in safe mode. Driver Sweeper - CNET Download.com

well guys, i also decided to roll back to 301.42 WHQL. the 304.48 beta drivers caused my GPU to stay at 3D clocks and respective voltage even during idle / light load, causing the fans to spin endlessly, very annoying!

waiting for the next release then... :)

Yea.. it was at 0.92v at 2D clock!! Then back down to 0.87v at 3D clock... Something is not right here... And the FXAA injector for BF3 freezes 10-15min into the game with this driver, plus the increased amount of stuttering with The Witcher 2.

the endless fan spin ups have been on the laptop since I got it, the only way to turn them to idle mode was to fake a GPU call by running a movie or something and then exiting right afterwards, I never run on battery power so I don't know how it sounds like with batteries. One thing I noticed was that if I used MSI Afterburner the fans wont spin up anymore even if I game and I'm getting chunked performance :( things get very stuttery and what not. Without After burner everything runs very smooth and no problems apart from the fans.
I've done a complete windows re-install but it didn't solve the fans, I do know for certain that the GPU isn't overheating as when I feel the back vents it's very very cool air coming out. Temps are in the 45 on Idle and 68 to 72 when I game.
