GTX 680M SLI and HDMI to connect to full HD TV, is it possible to have good sound and more important good quality view?
    What Pros and Cons?

I do it all the time. Its pretty strait forward. The card detects the native res of the panel and auto switches. Sometimes you have to go into the control panel and force it to the external monitor - in which case you want to double check the res it chooses. BTW the 680M SLI is probably an order of magnitude more power than you actually need to accomplish this :) I use a Sony with a 6450m most of the time because it is silent. My older 8800m GTX isn't so quiet (fans).

Only con is if you decide to stick with the built in speakers on the TV when using the HDMI cable. Quality transmitted through the cable is still high def sound, but TV speakers don't deliver what even a simple 2.1 system can. Your video quality on the other hand... ;)

What TV will you be using?

Yes the highest quality setups would transfer the picture through the HDMI or DP and then use the optical out through a separate sound system. The reports I have heard are this setup provides excellent quality on all fronts from the clevo/sager units.

If it is a modern TV with HDMI 1.4, it will have audio-out over HDMI to a A/V receiver with HDMI 1.4. Or it will have a SPDIF coax or TOS fiber audio output to a receiver if that receiver doesn't have HDMI 1.4. No need for a separate audio cable from your notebook, and most likely that will be the audio setup for watching TV too.

You're basically set. The HDMI cable will output high def video and audio; just remember the image and sound quality are largely dependent on your TV and whatever audio devices you use (in your case, the quality of the headphones).

    Enjoy. :)
