ugh I've ran into some issues on my 570tu with 9800gt

I installed Batman afew days ago and after a few min (like 10-20) it would freeze my computer and make a loud buzzing sound. Later I installed red fractions and I had similar results. So I went around dling the latest vid drivers from laptopvideo2go from reletively recent ones to the new sagar released and even the old dox optimized ones. But I've still had problems. I thought it was just unstable new games issues, so I dled the official nvidia one their website and went back to warcraft 3/dota. Now.... even my trusty warcraft is affected. Tho it takes a bit longer for it to crash... like 30-40 min. I'm going to run some temp tests and benchmarks and see if its heating.

Should I/Can I post a similar request for help on the gaming subforum?

btw, I did the windows 7 x64 built in ram check, and theres no problems.

edit: actually I just realized I can't see/ save the hw monitor results if I crash, so does anyone know of a program that will auto save till crash?

So from this, my machine crashed at 64C, but I know it runs at 75 for some gaming times. I'll run more tests, but I don't think its temp related.
I think eventually I'll switch to windows 7 professional and do a clean install if nothing works out. I would like to avoid that as its the middle of college apps season.

Edit 3: Ten min into fear 2, 75 C and no crashes.

And the CPU is always chill, so no problems there.

Could it be the temperature which cause the crash?

hmmm ok, it seems like it idle at around 55 C and peaks around 75 for gaming. The strange thing is, no crashes so far.... I guess more procrastination for testing time....
