Had this emulator on my G73 but I just now decided to try it out on my Sager. Except my Sager doesn't want me to see what kind of performance I can get. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to use the 7970. Anyone else use this emulator and figure out a way to make it work with Enduro?

I've been using dolphin for a while on my NP9150. It seems to be using the 7970m when i use it, but its an emulator so it's very cpu intensive. What game are you trying to play? The dolphin wiki usually has guides to tweak settings to run well with specific games. I know SSBB in particular takes quite a bit of tweaking to work correctly. Even after that, the performance still isn't earth-shattering. I can usually pull constant 60 in a one v one, but throw in 4 cpus or even worse, human players and it drops to a sluggish 30.

Xenoblade and Last Story mostly. I got better performance with Xenoblade on my G73 which leads me to believe it's still using the Intel card. Surely the 740QM is weaker than the 3610QM? I had to resort to having the internal resolution set to 1x, no AA and no AF. Also Afterburner shows nothing on the graph after exiting it, plus I can't pull up my afterburner overlay while in a game.

Yeah, I think you might have a point here. I always just used Dolphin's OSD for reference. And now with Afterburner not correctly outputting clocks and usage with the new driver, it'll be a little harder to isolate the problem. ill look into it with HWiNFO the second i get some time. What type of GPU did your G73 have? any switchable graphics like optimus or enduro?

The problem lies most likely with switchable graphics. People with laptop switchable cards have been reporting problems about this on the dolphin forums since the last generation of laptop cards. I can't seem to find any sort of solution.
