Hey guys, I'm getting my NP9170 soon and I would really like to know how to install the 7970M drivers correctly.

    1. After installing the OS, whats the order of installing drivers? Does it make a difference?

    2. Are there any useless drivers provided by Sager that isn't needed?

    3. After installing all the drivers, is there anything I need to do after?

If you don't use the function keys like volume, brightness, sleep, mute, touch pad toggle, etc... i wouldn't install the drivers for them. They also add an on-screen indicator for capslock, numlock and scroll lock that take your cursor away for a moment and it's really obnoxious while typing. I use all those buttons so I tolerate it, but I would really like to see that change or be an option. I don't want any on screen indicators for any of those things. Also the AuthenTec fingerprint program can be really obnoxious. I like it for logging into windows, but I don't like that it pops up for any webpage that looks like it has a password and you can't control your browser until you confirm or deny AuthenTec...

Install 1 driver after another and make sure they are THE NEWEST. It makes everything much easier, especially for future use.

I would recommend looking at BIOS threads and driver threads around the Sager/Clevo forum to have everything up to date... :) have fun
