After hours surfing the net for the best notebook that fit my goals:hardcore gaming but reasonable price, I've chosen the sager NP5790. Though I still have few question before getting one:
    1. How long will the battery last?
    2. Is the VGA card can be upgrade to better DX10 cards lately in the future?
    3. Since I've never use Sager/Clevo before (in fact I've never used latop before ), I don't know if there is any Sager/Clevo in the shops in Maine (USA), also a service center, 'cause I don't like of shipping my latop to rjtech or any other reseller to guarantee. That would take ages .

    1. The battery is average lasting about 1 hr. 45 mins or so during small routine tasks like web browsing, IM'ing, word processing, etc... During intense tasks such as gaming, however, it lasts about 45 mins.

Seems measley, but you gotta remember these gaming machines, decked out with all the bells and whistles and flashing lights, are gonna demand/suck up a lot of power. They're not meant to be ultra portable.

    2. DX10 is already available with the 8700M GT card. As to the 8800 series, can't comment on something that does not exist yet. But it's rumored to be release after November.

    3. Actually, going through a Sager reseller (such as XoticPC, Powernotebooks.com) gets things done more quickly than going directly to Sager. XoticPC and Powernotebook provide great customer service, as everyone on this forum can attest to.
