    Getting free Xtreme CPU..which one should i get?

    My girl's company has a dell contract and she was approved for new notebook...any dell.. price no option.


    So they have x7900 2.8g 4mb and x9000 2.6g 6mb....i assume i want x9000?

    Great thanks....once installed the oc option is there or do i have to update my bios?


    Also do you know if the dell lcd's will work with sager 5793? if the dell is brighter i'm taking that as well....how about the 8800 gtx...will that work in the sager?????

    x9000 is better but dont dell have the power comsuming quad cores.

    Dell's graphics, while modular, are a custom Dell design slot, so it will only fit in Dell notebooks. Not sure about the LCD, but you have to check if the cables and the inverter is the same type.

    or get the dell, sell it, then get a sager or upgrade ur current one :)

    I didn't see them...if that's a 3inch thick and heavvy lappy ...My girl won't beable to lug that around everywhere....Also I'M putting this stuff in a sager 5793..I don't think quad core is supported on this system is it?

    I just got this Sager a couple of days ago....I can't sell the dell because it will be her work pc...I'm just swapping cpu and possible lcd.

    Do they have an IT group at her company? Because if so you could very well get her fired doing something like that if they notice ;).

    She has to keep the dell...The only thing i can do is swap parts between the two. So far it looks like x9000 and i'll put my t9300 in her dell and maybe the lcd.
