Found the Gigabyte p27 today and it is almost identical to the Clevo w370(st/ss) Right now i'm stuck between the clevo w370ss or the p170sm-a.. Far as i know there are no option for backlighted keyboard on the w370 and that is a bit turnoff.. so..

Do you think it is possible to swap a gigabyte p27 backlighted keyboard to the w370ss?

Do you think Clevo will adopt the looks of the p27 in the future (improvement in looks made my jaw drop) :p

What is the dealio with this? do clevo own gigabyte or vice versa? i'm curios! :p I know Sager/Nexoc/Eurocom/Prostar etc, have alot of rebranded Clevo's, but that gigabyte should have an w370 in different color slightly diferent build BACKLIGHTED KEYBOARD really only thing i was missing on the w370ss!

Google can't find any previous questions about this for me!

They don't sell the p27 in my country.. or else i would have bought that one..

No, there is no connector (as you hinted at in your second post) for it. Also, the firmware may not support it.

Unlikely, but the P series does look pretty chic.
