Giving away ONE Free Crysis Game (original) to a lucky Sager / Clevo Owner

When I bought Crysis 3 I also got a code for free original game Crysis. I already own the original Crysis so thought I'd give it away, and thought of you gentlemen and ladies first. It requires an Origin account to activate which is a free online service for EA games primarily which can be downloaded here: Origin

Rules are simple:

(1) Fill out form at link below with the appropriate information: Your NBR username, Your Sager or Clevo model you own, and link to a photo of your Sager or Clevo laptop with your NBR username visible (written on paper, typed on screen, whatever)
(2) You must have PM access here at notebookreview before the start of the contest today 2/26/2013, which basically means 5 quality posts I believe. And you cannot be banned at time of the drawing.
(3) You must be of legal age and/or have proper authorization to obtain and play this game and abide by any laws allowing you to enter this contest and win the game
(4) Please post your photo of your Sager or Clevo laptop with your name in the photo (from the form rule 1) as well in this thread. Please limit to size within Forum Rules of 500x500.
(5) You can only enter the contest once. Duplicate entries will be deleted (I will delete the older one in case you made a mistake and had to resubmit)

Drawing will take place on Friday March 1, 2013 sometime in the evening EST. It will be completely random. Winner must respond to my PM that they won within 72 hours or I will award it to another person. Just want to make sure that person hasn't fallen off the face of the earth and isn't just a troll.

Yay for Sager/Clevo owners! HTWingNut, still waiting for you to join me and Deagleson in blasting aliens in ME3. The new DLC is released today, you get to play as a GIANT robot or run around as a HUGE Krogan with a biotic hammer, crushing your enemies

Is MP with ME3 really fun? I just can't see it. I still have to finish ME2 before I get to ME3. It is near the top of my priority list though.

 

Yes it's a blast, at least for me. I never get tired of killing hoards of enemies using fun powers. I will never get tired of ME3's physics, watching enemies being blasted into orbit as the brits say.

Been often close to buying Crysis. For some reason I never did. A really nice gesture btw.

 

Good luck! It's a great game. One of the most modded games I've ever played. There are great single player mods out there for it, new campaigns, maps etc. Of course plenty of visual mods. I'm one of the few I suppose who don't just see it as a tech demo, I really enjoy the gameplay, the gun play, and story.

I did just order a 250GB Samsung 840 for $150 though. Just so that it will be here when the laptop arrives.

Gah, how can you type with those keyboard protectors? I think they're ok when they're designed for the specific keyboard, but those things drive me nuts, lol. Either way nice laptop.

 

i want to buy the custom made one but this type is not selling in hk anymore. i hv one for my previous vaio 7 yrs ago but now just no more. i don't like it but i seldom type so it is ok for me anyway.

 

Yeah they're good for keeping the keyboard nice and clean. I need something like that, but haven't been able to find anything that works well.

In any case there's only 3 entries, 1 in 3 chance of winning. Was hoping for a little more participation, but I guess everyone already owns the game!

Haha, next thread for you to start is photography lessons on how to take pictures of bright screens in low light environments.

 

Actually regular flash works great in those conditions. Although I'm no photographer. I just have a simple point and shoot. I was just kidding.

 

hahaha I just want to say that it took me a few minutes fiddling around with my phone to even get a picture! You can see i tried to use my cheap light up xbox controller to help out

 

It's alright. Phone cameras suck period. Maybe that's what Apple should improve next so it will become "standard" to have high res low lux capable cameras in our phones.

 

my PIC wasnt so bad or was it? i took it with my motorola defy mini (quite cheap smartphone), thing is you sometimes need to customize the camera options to take good pictures (higher pixels). In my case its the lag between clicking and the actual shoot, but besides that i have no issues with phone cameras (although they definetely DONT substitute a proper camera.)

 

I got 8mp, and I took the photo with lowest settings (0,3mp). Also, should not have used flash. Usually the E7 takes decent pictures (with the right settings ofc).

 

Chances are good 1 in 5 (20%) so far. Wish I had 5 to give away. Although I'm sure it will go for a couple bucks with a future sale. It usually does. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trilogy pack soon with Crysis, Warhead, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3.
