I bought a Lotus p150hm which I will be playing with tommorow when I go back to the USA (YES!) and I ordered the glossy screen. I have been told that matte is better for people who travel a lot. Is that the case? And how big of a difference is the glossy vs matte screens for gaming?

I have a glossy screen on my Gateway gamer laptop and I love it. However, I use it inside where there are no reflection problems.
By the way your avatar is obnoxious. Had a hard time answering your post. Scared. -
There are few threads discussing this, bottom line you can buy a matte filter to reduce the glare.

better for travelling because you're mostly outdoors, less glare. almost no glare at 100% brightness for matte screens.

Also fingerprints! If they drive you nuts then glossy is not recommended. -

The matte displays also tend to be easier on the eyes for long usage. I still, however, prefer the glossy screens myself but I am usually holed up at work in an office without a window so I don't have a lot of reflection issues.
