    Hi guys

I have a Sager NP8662 and I already received my Windows 7 DVD, so I'm gonna install it. Should I get all the drivers directly from Sager, or are there any that I should get from the manufacturer?? By those I mean the chipset driver, maybe the video driver...

    Any help here is appreciated...

    Thank you
    Paulo

The drivers from the OEM are usually best to start with.

but if you want the latest drivers, get it from the manufacturers of each component.

such as Intel chipset and Matrix Storage drivers.

At this point, it is safe to assume that Sager's drivers are going to be just as up-to-date as the individual manufacturer drivers, but as time goes on, Gophn's right, individual component manufacturers will have the latest drivers.
