Good Clevo Resellers?

Hello everyone,

I know this might be showed up quite a while ago, but I want something more updated.

After months of waiting for mobile CPUs to be released on laptops, I decided to stop waiting and going to get the Clevo P650SG instead. That being said, other than XoticPc, Eurocom, Powernotebooks, are there any more good Clevo/Sager resellers that ships to the USA (probably takes price match as well)? Thanks.

 

Eurocom is my favourite reseller because they have a 10% off school/student/teacher discount, and it literally takes 1 day for shipping from their location to my house since I live in Ontario, Canada and shipping is only $26. Plus, when they are out of stock of certain items, they will give you free upgrades (sometimes even multiple ones) at no extra cost, I'm not sure if other resellers do this too but they might.

I've heard good things about pro-star too. You pretty much can't go wrong with any Clevo reseller, they're pretty much all very good.

 

Unfortunately, since I live in the US, I can't pay in CAD for Eurocom. It will be an awesome deal if I can along with the 10% off student discount.

I purchased my laptop from Mythlogic, although they are a builder rather than a re-seller. They cost a bit more than others, but your system gets put together and they stress test it a bit before sending it out. This is nice because it means they're likely to catch obvious problems before you ever get it. Highly recommended!

While I know you've mentioned them, Meaker (powernotebooks) and the XoticPC (various) reps are the most active on the forums. If I were considering another company, it would be one of them, since you have an extra place to check in where your voice will be heard. It's quite clear to me that they work hard on their customer's behalf and I think that's really important.

 

I've purchased a 9370 back in 2012 and another sager 8672s a couple weeks ago from xoticpc. I'm sure others are good too, but xoticpc offered the lowest price and has taken care of me both times. Both times the item came to my door withing 6-7 days (both times i picked rush build though) and i'm on the east coast.

 

I ordered my P650SE from lpc-digital. It will arrive tomorrow as specified on my order. So good experience so far.

 

Sorry to tack onto the OP's thread, but do any of these retailers deal with international shipping/warranties? I'm from the US, but living in Japan, so I'd like to go with a company that has experience and can handle that. Any ideas?

 

I think most will ship internationally. However Sager's warranty is US only. You do not lose the warranty though, but if something does come up it does have to be sent back to the repair center in the US.
